Powerful Magicard HoloKote
Like the other Magicard printers you’ve come to rely on, the new Magicard Ultima includes Magicard HoloKote to add holographic watermark-style images over your cards for additional visual security. HoloKote makes it easier to spot authentic cards (and spot cards that have been tampered with or duplicated).
The Ultima comes with 10 pre-set HoloKote designs you can choose from within the printer driver, or you can choose to design your own Custom HoloKote.
A new updated to Magicard’s HoloKote technology is the ability to add fluorescent printing to your HoloKote designs! This will show up under black lights to add another layer of security to your cards.
Please note that to print HoloKote designs on the Ultima printer you will need to purchase the specialty YMCKS ribbons with a secure panel.
User-friendly Color Touch Screen
If you have ever struggled to navigate a printer’s menu using up/down arrow buttons, this feature will change the way you think about card printing – the new Magicard Ultima comes with a large, full-color touch screen instead of arrow buttons!
This screen helps you easily see the card design you are currently printing, where in the printing process you are, how many prints you have left on the ribbon, error messages, run printer diagnostics, access the printer menu, and more. The touch screen is easy to use, and the large screen displays more information that a standard printer.
